All FeedSafe® Certified manufacturers must conduct and record an annual internal audit, approximately three months before their next scheduled FeedSafe® Compliance Audit.
If you are a manufacturer seeking FeedSafe® Certification, you must conduct an internal audit of your site to aid in determining if your quality assurance system covers all of the FeedSafe® Standards.

All FeedSafe® Certified manufacturers must conduct and record an annual internal audit, approximately three months before their annual FeedSafe® Compliance Audit is conducted. The internal audit includes:

Review of the record keeping / SOP documentation to ensure they are maintained and current.

Any non-conformances are identified and recorded.

The appropriate corrective and preventative actions are taken as required and are recorded.

Outstanding non-conformances are scheduled to be addressed in a reasonable timeframe.
