The FeedSafe® Standards are designed to cover the day-to-day management of animal feed manufacturering. However, additional information and Standards are provided for the transport, loading and unloading of feed. Whole-of-chain elements are also covered which require risk management from the feed mill to the end-user, including feed safety, biosecurity and traceability elements. In addition, compliance of the manufacturering site with good practices for environmental management is included.
